PROGRAMS: AMERICANISM

Americanism in the Department of California offers assistance to all commands by providing program information and resources. 

Examples include:  Information and a Dept. program covering National's flag drawing/poster/essay contests for grades K-12;

A unique Kit for National's Old Gloryious program; New Post Starter-Kits; a talk entitled "A Thesis:  Origins of the American Flag";

A parade flag marching unit called "The American Experience "(TM); 

"The American Flag and its Lineage" book;

"Encapsulated American History" CD;

"Topics in Americanism of Interest to AMVETS", a series of short papers; "Youth Conference at the Freedoms Fdn. at Valley Forge, information, class notes, a CD of the 2005 event;
